Another milestone in the category “big – bigger – biggest – a lot more big than biggest – yes, it can get bigger still – biggest of the biggest …” has been reached with the opening of the Burj Khalifa in Dubai. The 828 metres have been built in a little more than 5 years – not too bad if you compare it with the 600 years it took to build the Cologne Cathedral or the St. Vitus Cathedral in Prague.
