TanjaMewar Festival in Udaipur, India

written by Tanja on March 16th, 2010, 14:09  |  1 comment  |  I like this! (10)

From March 18-20, Udaipur (India) is going to be REALLY colourful. During this time, the people of Udaipur celebrate the so called Mewar Festival which welcomes the advent of spring. Especially women dress up in their most beautiful and colourful clothes and celebrate at Lake Pichola (that means – I’m sure you already guessed it – directly in front of our camera!).

TanjaVisiting the earthTV camera in Munich

written by Tanja on March 2nd, 2010, 15:36  |  6 comments  |  I like this! (8)

Last weekend, I’ve visited the earthTV camera here in Munich. It’s located on top of the Olympic Tower and has a great view over the whole city of Munich. I’ve been up there on Sunday (the day of the heavy storm in Germany) and I honestly was afraid of being blown away. I think I’ve never been outdoors in a storm like this. However, I worked up all my courage and climbed the steps to the platform below the earthTV camera. And there I saw the camera, moving and recording as if there was no storm… Here’s the picture I have taken:

Tanja G.Visiting the earthTV cam in Warsaw

written by Tanja G. on February 2nd, 2010, 16:13  |  5 comments  |  I like this! (14)

Last weekend we went to Warsaw with a couple of earthTV girls to follow the invitation of our dear colleague and come to her wedding.

We arrived in Warsaw on Friday and already spotted the Palace of Culture which we see pictures of taken by our earthTV camera every day, so we decided to walk there through Warsaw’s beautiful Old Town and illuminated streets after a lovely dinner and look for the cam on top of the Intercontinental Hotel. Can you spot it in the picture? ;-)

MarcoStaubsturm in Sydney zu sehen bei earthTV!

written by Marco on September 23rd, 2009, 14:08  |  3 comments  |  I like this! (5)

written by Marco on September 23rd, 2009, 11:38  |  4 comments  |  I like this! (7)

Hallo Dorfgemeinde,

LynOktoberfest – The Dirndl

written by Lyn on September 23rd, 2009, 11:36  |  0 comments  |  I like this! (12)

When I first arrived in Munich last year, one of the first things I bought was a Dirndl.
I remember walking into a random shop in town with my parents and I was served a free glass of prosecco by the shopkeeper and then forced to try on a strange outfit that came with an apron.

Tanja G.The Brussels cam and me

written by Tanja G. on June 26th, 2009, 08:51  |  4 comments  |  I like this! (3)

I just returned from a short trip to Brussels, Europe’s capital and earthTV camera location of the month of June 2009.
It was already my second visit, and before I hear a “Why the hell to Brussels, of all places?!?” again I have to admit that it was basically because one of my best friends has been working there for 3 years now – for a European organisation, of course.

AngelikaBusiness trip to Budapest

- live from Budapest -

The market which I have attended for the first time took place in a hotel by the famous chain bridge in Budapest. I feel watched by our earthTV camera. I looked at every building and roof but I could not see the camera. Where is it? Which roof did you climb, Ralf?

MarcusWallpapers with a different meaning – a view behind the curtain

Last week we have launched another earthTV camera. Rio (Brasil) is our first spot in South America. Brasil is also known as a BRIC state. On the way leaving “povertry” and ramping up to an “industrial state”. When I first saw the wallpaper I was impressed by the big “social” pan and span we can show to the fans of earthTV.
