TanjaSydney, Australia

Sydney is one of my favourite earthTV locations, as I wrote already in German. It offers lots of stunning views like Harbour Bridge or Sydney Opera and the really beautiful skyline. I really love the colours at twilight!

Awesome Picture! Unfortunalety I´ve never been there…

You are right, Tanja. :) Sydney is amazing, indeed. I’ve been dreaming of travelling to Australia ever since I was in high school.

Strangely, I never imagined flying over there. I’ve alwys thought that when I go, it would be on a ship. Maybe it will be at least a week’s trip and I will be having severe troubles with the sea sickness but I’m still willing to travel over there in the old-fashioned way. :)

    Thanks for your comments!

@Barbara: I always wanted to go there, but never made it. Now I watch the Sydney videos every day and dream of being there ;-)

@Antonia: I wanted to go there after graduating from school, but I didn’t have the time. But one day I will go there. Not by ship, I’d prefer the plane – it’s faster and you have more time for the city and the continent itself!

@Tanja: Well, I would like to spend at least half a year there. Maybe work for awhile or do some courses at the university. A holiday trip for one or two weeks wouldn’t be enough for me.

    Hi Tanja,

I agree that is is fantastic picture. I think i agree with Antonia if you have the time go the old fashioned way and not have the jet lag.
Antonia is right though to get a true feel of the place you need to spend months not weeks, wish I had the time.

Yes, that is anincredibly beautiful photo… If it was bigger i’d set itas my background.

    !::IDEA::!
Actually, you could have an ‘earthTV backgrounds’ page on your site, with big pictures like this one that registered users could set as their background… :-)

I’ve never experienced jet lag (im only 16), but I imagine it’f freaky, feeling its midnight, when it is infact mid-day… I can’t imagine that… :-)

I WILL go there, maybe when im slightly older, and my parents trust me to go abroad on myown without getting mugged or something…

@Antonia, yes I agree, a few weeks would not be enough!

  7. Flug says:

    Hey John,

we both share the same problems. We ain`t have the time to travel more than 3 weeks through the country. Wish I was a little bit younger to travel a few month.
Nobody is able to collect enough impressions of a big continent, if he only spends 2 or 3 weeks there.
